I think we can all agree, 2020 has been a year to make us look forward to a new year. For people like me, a new year means a new 2021 planner!! I’ve been pretty dedicated to my Happy Planner for a few years (not that I got much opportunity to use it this year), but I think 2021 is a year for me to try something new, especially if that something new can help me improve my walk with God. Enter the Spiritual Seeds Planner!
A Complete 2021 Planner
Spiritual Seeds Planner is a planning tool designed to help Christians prioritize living a fruit-filled life, guided by the Holy Spirit. The Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control. (Galatians 5:22-23) The planner uses a gardening theme concentrating on four garden plots – Friends/Family, Self, Community, Vocation/Work. Each month focuses on one Fruit, detailing actions to plant + cultivate + grow. Actions are planned daily for the highest yield. Cute garden-themed stickers provide visuals for tracking growth. Unlike any other planner, Spiritual Seeds Planner prioritizes and plans Spiritual growth over daily “to do” lists and activities focusing on growth rather than achievement.

More Spiritual Seeds Planner Features
The cover of this planner is gorgeous! The faux leather cover comes in 3 colors: Grapefruit Pink, Coconut Brown, and Slate Gray. The cover features a debossed design of a tree with the fruits of the spirit. The planner also has a handy matching elastic to keep it closed.
Planning with the Spiritual Seeds planner isn’t super complicated, which is great for busy moms like myself. The Spiritual Seeds planner comes with easy instructions and visuals that explain how to get the most out of your planner.
Have you ever made a vision board? Well the Spiritual Seeds Planner has a big layout just for creating a vision board that goes with you everywhere! What a great way to keep up with your spiritual goals!
Each month, you will have a special monthly plotting page to make plans and set goals for the month.
There are also monthly planner layouts to see the month at a quick glance with ample room at the bottom for notes or even doodles.
The weekly layouts remind me a little of Happy Planner layouts, as they have 3 daily boxes, but they feel a little limited because the design includes times along the left edge. Personally I prefer to write in my own times and use the boxes to separate things out by topic or goal because certain times of the day are far too busy to fit in such a small space. These times could easily be covered with correction tape/white-out or even stickers.
One other thing I disliked about the weekly layout, that again could easily be modified is there are places for “Life to Do” and “Work to Do”. As a homeschooling mother of 5 the “Work to Do” section just doesn’t apply to me. I know it wouldn’t apply to many women – my life is my work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Simply having generic weekly to-dos would be a little better so I could fill it in as needed with “Blog to Do” or “School to Do” without having to cover up the existing words.
Speaking of stickers…. Spiritual Seeds offers a sticker pack that fits with the theme of the Spiritual Seeds Planners! The stickers are colorful and so cute!
Each planner comes with two sheets of stickers, but you can get the full sticker book and other fun planning accessories here on their website.
